Pal_bulletPalestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) including all its local branches, in partnership with the Trade Union Congress (TUC), has launched a campaign to ban the import of goods and produce from illegal Israeli settlements into the UK. The sale of these goods helps to economically bolster the illegal settlements, which now occupy over 40% of West Bank land, and strengthens the illegal occupation.

This must end. The Palestinians have a right to live with dignity, free from occupation.

The British government and the international community has recognised that the settlements are illegal and an obstacle to peace. Yet goods from Palestine's stolen land - including fruit, herbs and beauty products - continues to be sold in our shops and supermarkets.

Get involved. You can help to take these stolen goods from stolen lands off our supermarket shelves.

While settlement goods and produce remain on sale in the UK, the Palestinians have urged people of conscience to boycott them. And, internationally, calls for boycott, sanctions and disinvestment from Israel are also growing stronger. Click here to read why Ronnie Kasrils, a former member of South Africa's ANC government, thinks the 'time is ripe for boycott' in the UK.

Defra has stated that: “producers cannot simply label a product as 'packed in the UK' as this may be misleading to the actual country of origin of the ingredient and would be illegal under food labelling legislation”

"I don't buy anything Jewish"..... (be wary of this because we make the very clear distinction between Judaism and Israel and the Israeli government)
..... followed almost immediately by:
"you're all anti-Semitic" to which I simply replied: "No we're not" !

--------------------------------

'My brother was in the British Army during the Jewish expansion in Palestine and was so disgusted by the ethnic cleansing that he witnessed that he joined the Arab resistance and was later imprisoned by the British' (now dead unfortunately)'

--------------------------------

'I was in a Kibbutz and one Israeli guy told me that all Arabs should be exterminated, I was shocked'

--------------------------------

"I asked my 2 boys not to buy anything that has the label 'Produce of Israel' because I believe that boycott is an adequate weapon when you have a rogue country like Israel that slams most of International laws and UN resolutions into the wall"

--------------------------------

"It worked with South Africa, and it should work with Israel if people start putting themselves in Palestinian shoes"

--------------------------------

"I used to support Israeli policies in the Middle East until 2006, when I started digging in to find the truth and I was shocked with the result. I discovered how naive I was and how I was a victim of media brain wash. I'll never buy Israeli products, never!"
--------------------------------

"Keep the good work guys, a lot of people are on your side. Israel should end the occupation, siege and the degusting apartheid. If not, my fridge won't have herbs or mint that was watered with Palestinian blood".
--------------------------------

"... pity they don't do something about Palestine rather than go to war in Afghanistan !"
--------------------------------

"so much money was given by the EU for Palestinian agriculture and then Israel destroyed it by making it rot at checkpoints"
--------------------------------

"I could not be more disgusted, Israel is backed by the dollar of course"

"I agree with you, but I find it too painful to be reminded"

Conflict in the Middle East

How much do Christians know about the continuing strife and bloodshed in Palestine?
How much do we care about the suffering of the Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza? Should we ignore what is happening there, to “pass by on the other side”, as in the parable of the Good Samaritan?

We used to know Palestine as the Holy land, where Jesus Christ ministered and died for us. It is also a country for which we were responsible under Mandate from the League of Nations until 1948.
